TANGNUOM VANGKHUO

Tangnuom was founded in 1942 by Suongdong and is located in the Thanlon Sub-Division. Its establishment came during the early 1940s, adding to the continuing development of Gangte settlements during the twentieth century. From its beginnings, the village has been shaped by the people who settled there and by the generations who carried the community forward. Tangnuom therefore represents both a historical settlement and a living community. Its story, like those of other Gangte villages, becomes more meaningful when the origins and experiences of its people are preserved and passed on.
