NEW PHAIJANG VANGKHUO

N. Phaijang was established in 1954 and is located in the Thanlon Sub-Division. As a settlement established in the middle of the twentieth century, its history reflects a later chapter in the development of Gangte villages. The name itself connects the village with the wider historical identity associated with Phaijang. Over time, the settlement has become part of the community landscape and the lives of the generations who have made it home. N. Phaijang stands as an example of the continuing formation and development of Gangte communities in more recent history.
